A little about Michelle & what brought her to Flow Studio…

I don’t think I’d practiced yoga before setting foot in Flow Studio an unholy number of years ago. I was instantly hooked! Not just on the breath and the movement but on the magic of the space Katie had created. What started as wanting to try something new quickly turned into something I couldn’t do without. When life threw a curve ball or three my way, I decided to throw myself into practice a little deeper and booked myself onto a guide training course in Amsterdam without much intention of guiding…and then Covid hit! So my first guiding experience was from the safety of my spare room with my class sequence taped to the wall in front of me! I love how yoga makes me feel, I love love love sharing that with others

Favourite Snack:

A crunchy red apple (must be sliced) with an obscene dollop of peanut butter

Funny Class experience:

I’ve guided my way through two pregnancies and two post-partums, there’s not much my classes haven’t been privvy to!! Or that time I face planted whilst demo-ing crow…I definitely let my ego get in the way! 

Things I say in class & then cringe:

this list is endless. I’m….creative with transition words. Waft. Waft is a word I shouldn’t use in class really

How do you take your coffee?

Oat milk latte, half a sugar thanks very much

Dream Day:

Any day I get to be by the sea is a winner. Walking the coast path, collecting driftwood, building sandcastles with my daughter, surfing (badly), paddling…if there’s saltwater, it’s dreamy!
