A little about Meg & what brought her to Flow Studio…
After a childhood as a competitive dancer and a 6 year career as a professional performer, I decided to utilise all of my knowledge of movement and expression and transition into guiding movement in classes and 1-1 sessions
I discovered Flow after relocating from Liverpool and fell in love with these ethos that Katie has embedded in the bones of the studio
I will always endeavour to bring flavours of dance into my teaching styles as it creates a sense of freedom, expression and movement through feeling rather than aesthetics. I am grateful to Katie for giving me the opportunity and space to inject this idea into Flow and Torbay
Little extra things about Meg…
Favourite Snack:
I’m a fan of a flavour mix. I love an apple with peanut butter or some pickled gherkins, olives and cheese
Funny Class experience:
Counting in 8 beat phrases all day everyday often becomes confusing, there are many occasions where I forget how to count to 10
Things I say in class & then cringe:
Whenever I say the word lovely or the same word twice
How do you take your coffee?
Oat milk flat white
Dream Day:
Early wake up, followed by a morning cuddle with my cockapoo Bailey followed by a meditation and gratitude journal. Then chase a sunrise either up on the moors or over the ocean, whilst sipping an oaty flat white. Then onto some morning movement which could look like anything from Yoga, Barre to Weight training or a HIIT class, followed by some delicious grub
The afternoon id spend immersed in Nature:- in a forest, up a mountain, on a coast path or in the ocean. Preferably with my closet friends and/ or family and then back home for a chilled evening of home cooked food, candles, laughter, good music and a whole lot of love
